Install
Install M2 on Android.
Android keeps you in control of sideload installation. Grant source permission only when Android asks, then review the package installer confirmation.
- 1
Choose an APK
Use the arm64 APK for most current Android devices. Choose universal only when compatibility is uncertain.
- 2
Download from Mirage Project
The Download page links to the immutable M2 release service. Keep the file name and avoid repackaged copies.
- 3
Allow this source when asked
Android may ask whether your browser or file manager can install this app. Enable permission only for the app you used to download M2.
- 4
Review Android’s confirmation
Confirm the M2 installation in PackageInstaller. Installation is never silent.
- 5
Open M2
The app initializes its encrypted storage and embedded Tor connection, then opens the Channel list.
- 6
Keep M2 current
When a newer trusted compatible release is mandatory, M2 remains at the update screen until the signed update is installed.
Troubleshooting
- Android version unsupported
- M2 requires Android 13 or later.
- Install permission unavailable
- Return to the Android prompt and grant permission only to the browser or file manager handling the APK.
- Verification or download failed
- Delete the incomplete file and download it again from this site. Advanced verification values are on the Download page.
- Installer cancelled
- No update is installed. Open the APK again when ready; a mandatory update keeps M2 closed until completion.
