M2 for Android
M2 gives a small team a secure Channel for messages and files—without sign-up, email addresses, or a shared contact list. Communication is encrypted on the device and routed through Tor.
Android 13 or later · M2 0.6.3

The Channel model
Create a Channel for one project or group. Share a private invitation with the people who need it, and keep that conversation separate from personal accounts and everyday messaging.

Join a Channel without registering a phone number or email address.
Messages and supported files are protected before they leave your phone.
Messaging reaches M2 through a v3 Onion Service instead of a direct connection to the messaging gateway.
Encrypted server copies are deleted after confirmed delivery. Undelivered copies expire within 48 hours.
How it works
Choose a capacity and a useful lifetime for one team or task.
Send the private invitation only to the people who should join.
Exchange messages, voice notes and supported files inside the Channel.
Let the Channel expire, reactivate it when appropriate, or delete it.
M2 security
M2 combines accountless participation, device-level encryption, Tor routing, signed software updates, and limited server retention. The Security page explains what each control does—and what it does not protect against.
